For 33 years, the Jefferson Arts Committee had coordinated and run the annual Jefferson Township Day event; and in 2019, hosted its last Jefferson Fest Food Truck, Concert and Fireworks event.. The event was then turned over to the Township of Jefferson; but due to Covid, the 2020 event was canceled. Jefferson Fest IV was coordinated and run by the Township of Jefferson in July of 2021. In 2022, the Jefferson Fest Food Truck and Fireworks event was merged into the annual Jefferson Township Carnival at the JT Middle School on Weldon Road and coordinated by the Jefferson Township Education Foundation. The 2024 event will be coordinated jointly by JT Fire Company No. 1 and 2.
At this time, The Jefferson Arts Committee sincerely thanks its past and present volunteer members, the Township of Jefferson, the many other volunteers and organizations, vendors, sponsors, etc. who were part of this annual event for over three decades. Thank you to everyone involved in continuing the tradition of this annual event.
