Children's Games

Games of Skill await kids on Jefferson Township Day

Jefferson Township Day is a family day of fun, food, entertainment, live music, activities, shopping, and fireworks; and this year's event on Saturday, July 9 will be no exception, especially as it marks the event’s 30th anniversary.

The Jefferson Arts Committee is pleased to offer an activity tent full of fun things for children from pre-school through 5th grade to do – under the sea fishing, ring toss, tick-tac-toe, bean bag toss, the lollipop tree, tail-gate basketball, and ladder ball to name a few.        Children's games of skill begin at 12 noon and run through 3 pm. Tickets are minimally priced to play, and there are prizes to choose from.

Responsible middle/high school aged students as well as adults who wish to volunteer to assist with the games can contact Rose at rcjackameit@gmail.com or 973-697-3064. The JAC will gladly provide a letter noting volunteer hours worked for students needing community service hours for church or school projects.

For more information on all activities throughout the day and evening, go to www.jeffersonarts.org  call 973-697-2032 or 973-697-3828, or email artscommittee@jeffersonarts.org
