Lots of entertainment scheduled for Jefferson Township Day!
After 27 years of hosting the annual celebration of Jefferson Township Day, the Jefferson Arts Committee returns once again to host the 28th Jefferson Township Day on Saturday, June 12 and is pleased to present continuous live entertainment in addition to all the other activities of the day and evening. Everything takes place on the fields of the Jefferson Township High School, 1010 Weldon Road, Oak Ridge, NJ.
On the Main Stage:
12:30 pm—Rhythmic Gymnastics
1:00 pm—Jefferson Township Community Chorus performs
1:30 pm—Announcement of the winners of the Arts’ Karts Races
2:00 pm—Wallaby Tales Live Animal Show
3:30 pm—Hot Dog Eating and Chili Contests
4:20 pm—Generations of Dance performance
5:00 pm—Jefferson Township Community Band and Jazz Band performs
7:15 pm—Tequila Rose Band Concert begins
8:05 pm—Mayor announces Citizens of the Year Awards and reads Proclamation for Sgt. Aaron Alonzo
8:25 pm—Tequila Rose Band continues their concert
9:20 pm—50/50 drawing
THEN at 9:30 pm—LOOK TO THE SKIES FOR THE FIREWORKS!
In the Small Tent on the Field:
1:00-4:00 pm—Juggler Bill Ceddia
3:30-6:30 pm—Jinx the Clown
Walking Around the Field:
4-7 pm—Phydeaux’s Flea Circus
Admission to the Jefferson Township High School field is free throughout the day so come early to enjoy not only the entertainment but all the other activities as you browse the arts, crafts, and merchandise vendors, the service club tables, and enjoy a delicious bite to eat or a refreshing beverage from one of the dozen food vendors on site.
