Shopping opportunities abound at Christmas in the Village!

            When you’re not enjoying the live entertainment, the exciting activities, or the comfort food and refreshments being offered at the fourth annual Christmas in the Village event the first weekend in December, you could be shopping from 10 AM to 4 PM on Saturday, December 5.

At the Jefferson Township Fire Company No. 1 building located at 162 Milton Road, you can browse and shop among quality handcrafter booths including  Margaret Self’s American Girl Custom doll clothes; Betty Leccacorvi ‘s hand painted china and wire wrapped jewelry; Patricia McWhorter’s acrylic paintings  and hand painted ornaments; Kenneth and Rosemary Fuchs’ woodcrafts, seasonal items, and embroidery; Leann Coleman’s silver and semi-precious jewelry and hand knit and sewn items; YanYan Ling’s flower and fashion jewelry: Dolores Cronk’s fabric crafts and quilted items; Ingrid Gori’s tapestry placemats and jewelry; Carrie Wallace’s wine totes, bottle stoppers, and wine charms; Paul Cannarella’s bath & body items and soy candles; Doug Hooker’s hand cut gemstone jewelry; Sandra Allen’s custom designed and handmade jewelry; Lucille Bevacqua’s Dead Sea bath products, candles, dolls, cloth books, floral gift baskets, hand knitted baby sweaters, and scented items; Sandra Allen’s jewelry; and Missy O’Donnell’s embroidered items.

            At St. Gabriel’s Episcopal Church, 153 Milton Road, the Jefferson Township High School Band Parents Boosters will be selling live Christmas wreaths.

            At American Legion Post #423 located at 28 Legion Road, members will be selling live Christmas trees in the parking lot.  At 4 PM, you can purchase any of the entries that were submitted to Grandma’s Cookie Contest with proceeds benefiting future Jefferson Arts Committee events.

            Stop at the White Elephant Sale at the Milton First Aid Squad building, 45 Milton Road, where members will also be conducting a bake sale.

            Volunteers at the Jefferson Township Museum at 315 Dover Milton Road will be manning Miss Elizabeth’s Shoppe where a variety of unique and unusual gifts, many of them handmade by local crafters and some antiques will be available for purchase.

            Purchase your 50/50 tickets at Fire Company No. 1, the Senior Center, and the Legion Post.  The drawing will be held at 4 PM at the fire house, and the winner need not be present.
