The Community Chorus is Swingin’ Into the Holidays!
The Jefferson Township Community Chorus will present its annual Holiday Concert on Sunday, December 2, 3:00 p.m. at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, 204 Espanong Rd, Lk Hopatcong.
The Chorus will begin the program with several classic numbers like “In the Bleak Midwinter,” an “Alleluia Canon” by Mozart, and a gospel arrangement of “O Holy Night.” We’ll “swing” into the holidays during the second half with arrangements of favorites like “Blue Christmas,” “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree,” “Santa Baby,” and much more.
Suggested donation for tickets is $10 for adults and $5 for seniors and children age 5 and older. Tickets will be available at the door, or in advance from any chorus member, or by calling Sue at 973-601-3028 or Margaret at 973-697-6659. Proceeds from this concert will benefit both the Chorus and Star of the Sea. Star Of the Sea Church is Handicapped Accessible.
Sponsored by Jefferson Arts Committee, the next open membership time for the Chorus begins in February, when Spring Concert preparations will begin. The only requirement for membership is a love of choral singing.
