Parking at Jefferson Township Day
Jefferson Township Day takes place on Saturday, July 9 on the fields of the Jefferson Township High School located at 1010 Weldon Road in Milton/Oak Ridge; and parking is free throughout the day and evening events.
Attendees can park in the Jefferson Township High School’s Parking Lot A, in the Jefferson Township Middle School parking lot, in the Jefferson Township Municipal Building & Library Complex, by the Jefferson Township Department of Public Works, at SnoBowl, and anytime along Weldon Road except before/during the 11 am parade. Take note that Weldon Road will be closed at approximately 10:30 am for the parade route so plan accordingly.
Handicapped Parking (with decal/plate) and parking by Jefferson Arts Committee permit will only be allowed at the Jefferson Township High School’s parking Lot B. A Jefferson Township Police Officer will be stationed at this location and will only allow vehicles in with the handicapped parking decal/plate or the Jefferson Arts Committee’s permit.
Pedestrians are advised to use extreme cautin when walking along Weldon Road.
