Jefferson Township Community Chorus Announces Spring Concert

TIMELESS SONG: "Something Familiar…Something for Everyone”

The Jefferson Township Community Chorus will present its eighth Spring Concert on Sunday, June 1, 4:00 p.m. at St. Gabriel’s Episcopal Church, 153 Milton Road in the Milton section of Jefferson Township. “Timeless Song” will include “Something Familiar…Something for Everyone” – Comedy Tonight, Bridge Over Troubled Water, Chattanooga Choo Choo, Danny Boy, and Song for the Unsung Hero (with Rich Barrieres on trumpet), to name a few. The chorus includes adults and students from Jefferson and the surrounding area. Interim Director Margaret Brandell and Janet Breckenridge as Accompanist will lead the group in this concert. Light refreshments will follow. St. Gabriel’s Church is accessible to the Handicapped. Overflow parking is available at the Fire House and on Winding Hollow Dr..

Suggested donation for tickets is $10 for adults and $5 for seniors and students K-12. Tickets will be available at the door, in advance from any chorus member, or by calling Margaret Brandell at 973-697-6659. Proceeds from this concert will provide funds for various chorus expenses, including the ongoing purchase of choral music.

The chorus is sponsored by the Jefferson Arts Committee, and the next performance will be as part of the pre-fireworks concert on July 12 at Jefferson Day, the annual town-wide celebration also sponsored by the JAC.
