Food vendors line up to serve you on Jefferson Township Day!

The food choices on this year's Jefferson Township Day XXI scheduled for Saturday, July 14 (raindate Sunday, July 15) will be plentiful and varied offering their specialties all day and into the evening. All activities will take place at the fields of the Jefferson Township High School located at 1010 Weldon Road in Oak Ridge.

E-Zee Concessions offers funnel cakes, cotton candy, nachos, candy and caramel apples, soda and spring water; and Boy Scout Troop 49 returns with their sno-cones, popcorn, soda, coffee, and hot chocolate. The Grace Free Evangelical Free Church will be grilling their Spiedic marinated chicken on a stick with kettle chips and pickles, soda, water, and coffee as well as deep-fried Oreo cookies. Pizza is on the menu and being offered by the team of Canino and Thomas along with soda, water, and coffee; and Jefferson Dairy will be selling its homemade ice cream. If you're in the mood for French fries, pierogies, chicken nuggets, and onion rings be sure to stop by the booth manned by Phil's French Fries. Gina's Foods' menu will include zeppoles, calzones, shish kabobs and braccioles as well as some fried Oreos; and the members of the Woodstock Sportsmen's Club will be serving cheese steak hoagies and hamburgers along with sodas, coffee, and water. A.J.'s Country Cone will sell ice cream, ice cream novelities, and Italian ices; and the Evergreen Restaurant's menu will be chicken with broccoli. Frozen Delights will offer an alternative to soft drinks with their smoothies; and the members of the Joseph F. Lamb Knights of Columbus Council #5510 will be serving up hot dogs and cold sodas.

So come for lunch, come for dinner, come for a snack but come to the 21st annual celebration of Jefferson Township Day on Saturday, July 14. The parade along Weldon Road begins at 11 am followed by continuous live entertainment, arts/crafts/merchandise vendors, a rock-climbing wall, inflatable activities, children's games, demonstrations, a children's fishing contest, young adult bands, road bowling, and great family fun. Admission is free all day long with an admission charge to the fields beginning at 6 pm ($2 per adult/$1 per child). There will be a concert under the stars featuring the Jefferson Township Community Chorus and Community Band followed by one of the best aerial firework displays in northern New Jersey!
