Come shop at the Christmas in the Village event
When you’re not enjoying the live entertainment, the exciting activities, or the comfort food and refreshments being offered at the Saturday, December 1st at the 3rd annual Christmas in the Village event, then start shopping from 10 AM to 4 PM!
At the Jefferson Township Fire Company No. 1 building, you can browse and shop among the following quality handcrafter booths – Jack O’Mara’s Nature’s Beauty (nature photography), Carolann Steere’s Creations by Carolann (hand-crafted jewelry and gifts), Larry Magurno’s The Toy Box (custom wood and plastic gifts), Kathleen Brady’s Ruffles N’More (basket ruffles, table runners, American Girl doll clothes), Ingrid C. Gori’s ICGDesign (display trays and easels), Margaret Self’s American Girl doll clothes; Ken and Rosemary Fuchs’ Country Cut-Ups (wood crafts, angels, sleds, holiday items, and embroidery); Donald and Barbara Amari’s Precision Wood Creations (wood art), Betty Leccacorvi’s hand painted china and jewelry; and Alvin S. Gustafson’s Deep Woods (inlaid jewelry boxes). Jefferson Arts Committee members will be selling commemorative chocolate bars and Jefferson Township Bicentennial cookbooks.
At St. Gabriel’s Episcopal Church, the Jefferson Township High School Band Boosters will be selling live Christmas wreaths and decorations for the wreaths while the members of VFW Post #564 will be selling baked goods.
At American Legion Post #423 members will be selling live Christmas trees.
At the Milton First Aid Squad building, members will be conducting a bake sale.
Volunteers at the Jefferson Township Museum will be selling Jefferson Township Gazebo cutouts, decorated wreaths and swags, and the 2006 holiday ornament “The Newfoundland Train Station.”
Stop by the Jefferson Township Library at 4 PM and you can purchase any of the entries that were submitted to Grandma’s Cookie Contest. Proceeds will benefit future Jefferson Arts Committee events. Also members of the Oak Ridge Presbyterian Church will be selling their church cookbook.
At Camp Jefferson, children will have the opportunity to shop for gifts all by themselves at the Jefferson Consolidated PTA’s Holiday Shoppe.
