Shopping opportunities await you at Christmas in the Village

In addition to free live entertainment and food offerings at several venues at this year’s Christmas in the Village event in the historic Milton Village and vicinity, the Jefferson Arts Committee offers you shopping opportunities at its Holiday Marketplace which will be sited in the Jefferson Township Fire Company No. 1’s firehouse at 162 Milton Road in Oak Ridge, NJ on Saturday, December 4 from 10 am to 4 pm.

Home-based distributors will be on hand including JoAnn Wassmer’s Mary Kay Cosmetics’ beauty products, Stephanie Willever’s Pampered Chef’s kitchenproducts, Maria Cattano’s Lia Sophia’s lovely jewelry items, Terri & Shannon McCarney’s Krumb Kups’  delectable mini fruit crumb desserts, and Renee Marinello’s Tastefully Simple’s delicious food products. 

Arts, crafts, and merchandise vendors will include Celtic Butterfly’s stained glass, suncatchers, panels, and lamp shades; Crafts by Amy featuring wool scarves and hats, paper roll covers, and satin bathing suit covers; Burek Ornaments offering hand-beaded snowflake ornaments, jewelry, and crocheted baby items;  Treasure Cookie Jewelry offering handmade one-of-a-kind semi-precious gemstone and metal jewelry; Pretty Trinket/Cuddle Stuff presenting handmade bead and crystal jewelry, afghans, stuffed animals, hats and scarves; Krafty Kreations/Washable Wearables featuring towel angels, plastic canvas tissue box covers, material baby books, and children’s pillows; SES Sports with sports-related banks, lamps, coasters, bird houses as well as wooden signs, ornaments, and trinkets; and Froggy Swamp Arts ’pottery and sculptured items.

Just across the street at St. Gabriel’s Episcopal Church, you will find members of the Jefferson Township High School Band Parents selling fresh decorated holiday wreaths, the GFWC Junior Woman’s Club of Jefferson’s Bake Sale, the Church’s own White Elephant Sale, and several additional craft vendors selling wood and holiday items.

If you get hungry while shopping, the Fire Company’s Ladies Auxiliary will be selling chili, hot dogs, donuts, chips, hot and cold beverages while the St. Gabriel’s parishioners will offer soup and sandwiches, coffee, tea, soda, and water.  And you can be sure to enjoy the live entertainment taking place at both locations throughout the day!
